Congrats to our running, jumping and throwing Bobcat team on their outstanding performances Tuesday night at the Western Valley Conference meet. We showed up again and again against some strong competition. And came home with place winners and new school records. Claire Schumacher and Ella Staley both placed in the shot put. Claire tossed well enough for a 2nd place finish and a new school record! Ella kept it coming and placed 4th. Claire also completed a 2nd place throw in the discus. The Bobcat boys put on quite a show on the track. Starting with the boys 4x800 relay team of Cohen McCartney, Brayden Koch, Ben Meseck and Zander Friedrichs. They improved their school record time by 8 seconds and claimed 2nd place. Xavier Folk hustled in to 7th place in the 100 meter dash. The boys 4x200 relay team of Xavier Folk, Landon Rosburg, Cohen McCartney and Brayden Koch gave a solid performance and finished 8th. Zander Friedrichs ran strong and steady in the Mile and placed 8th. Cohen McCartney gave it his all in the Open 200 and took home 7th place. Not to be out done the girls ran their hearts out. Audrey Hadden sprinted into 6th place in the 100 Meter Dash. The girls 4x200 relay team of Ella Staley, Audrey Hadden, Claire Schumacher and Cheyenne Vogt improved their school time record and brought home 4th place. Cheyenne Vogt also sprinted into 4th place in the Open 200. WHAT A GREAT SEASON! WAY TO GO BOBCATS!

Mrs. Green's class would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to the Crawford County Extension office for giving us the opportunity to watch 7 eggs hatch. It was such a fun and educational experience. We are so sad to see them leave our classroom but we know they will have a lovely life on the farm where they belong.

Congratulations to our Bobcat track and field team on their best performances of the season last night at West Harrison! We started off strong with Ella and Claire claiming 1st and 4th in the shot put as well as Claire earning 2nd in the discus! Back on the track our boys 4x800 relay of Cohen McCartney, Brayden Koch, Ben Meseck, and Zander Friedrichs took 2nd place. Followed by Xavier Folk sprinting to a 1st place finish and setting a new school record in the Open 100. The boys continued on strong with Logan Trucke, Cashten Wilcox, Tavian Feller and Ryder Meseck placing 4th in the Distance Medley and Zander Friedrichs with a solid 3rd place finish in the Mile run, which set a new school record! Our girls were also a fierce force on the track. Starting with the girls 4x200 team of Ella Staley, Audrey Hadden, Claire Schumacher and Cheyenne Vogt, who tore through the competition for a 1st place finish. Cheyenne kept it coming with another 1st place victory in the Open 200 Meter Dash. With the girls on a roll, Audrey Hadden and Liza Klinker hurdled their way into 3rd and 4th place in the 200 Meter Hurdles. Followed by another amazing run for Cheyenne Vogt, who broke her own record and got 2nd place in the 800 Meter Run. The boys and girls relay teams had their eyes on the prize last night as well. Our Sprint Medley teams of Ella Staley, Abby Cripps, Claire Schumacher and Jackie Factor as well as Landon Kiepe, Landon Rosburg, Ben Meseck and Brayden Koch both brought home a 5th place win. Our 4x100 teams of Ella Staley, Abby Cripps, Jackie Factor, and Audrey Hadden ran their best and placed 3rd, while Landon Kiepe, Landon Rosburg, Ben Meseck and Cohen McCartney secured 4th in that event. Finishing out the night strong in the 4x400 relay were our 7th grade girls, Madalyn Gran, Abby Cripps, Jackie Factor and Liza Klinker who secured 3rd place. WAY TO GO BOBCATS!!! Our last meet will be our Conference meet in Holstein on Tuesday, May 7th. Be sure and come cheer on the team one last time.
