It's time for our weekly Staff Spotlight, where we take time to introduce one of our amazing staff members to you, our community. We hope you enjoy getting to know us a little better. Today we introduce the wonderful Mrs. Leila Kuhlmann! She was our amazing Middle School English teacher this year.
She started her career here as the “Lunch Punch Lady” in the 90s, then moved on to being a van driver for Special Education students, followed by becoming a Middle School Para Educator which she did for 15 years. One thing she loves most about working here is the students. “They may frustrate me at times but they are all incredible individuals.” When asked what advice she would give to someone just starting their career here, she stated “Have fun. Our students need to learn that learning is an adventure that is life long!” When stopping by the cafeteria she says that her favorite school lunch is a classic hamburger.
Outside of school she cherishes time spent with her family. Her family includes her husband, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 4 exchange student children, and 3 exchange student grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, watching her grandkids play sports or just playing in general. She also loves getting together with her friends.

Here are our Kindergarten and 1st grade Bobcats of the week! They are Carter Dorale, and Brydan Rosburg. Great job boys!
