Today, students at COU, partnered with older and younger students to form Student Activity Leadership Groups. In these groups, students enjoyed discussing Thanksgiving and things they are thankful for from A to Z. They also heard a story, “How to Catch a Turkey”. Then, with their partner, they competed against another team to see who could fill up their turkey’s feathers first with M & M’s. Finally, everyone gathered in the gym for a turkey feather race with turkey basters. Congratulations to Mrs. Cogdill’s and Mrs. Thies’s group #3, The Jets, for winning it all! Happy Thanksgiving to all COU families, teachers and staff!

Kindergarten students have been learning about weather in Science. We made windsocks and went outside to discover what direction the wind was coming from and how strong the wind was. We went out Wednesday and Thursday to find out if the wind is always the same. What a difference 1 day made!
