The JH faced off against the Boyer Valley Bulldogs in the their last game of the season on Friday. The 7th grade girls dominated all three matches with final scores of 21-19, 21-15 and 15-4. The 8th grade girls gave it their full effort but came up short with final scores of 10-21, 7-21 and 8-15. Great season Lady Cats! It was a joy to watch you play!

Catching up on this weeks sports news, the JH girls faced off against Ar-We-Va on Tuesday. The 7th grade girls came out victorious while the 8th grade fell a little short. There was also Cross Country meet in Dunlap yesterday. Results included a time of 18:10 for Josiah Peitsch and a time of 15:03 for Ryder Meseck.
There will also be a JH VB game today against Boyer Valley in Charter Oak beginning at 4 pm.
Junior high bobcat of the week recipients are Audrey Hadden, Hannah Peitsch, and Mia Staley.
PK-2 bobcat of the week recipients are Brynn Leitz, Briggs Maack, Millie a Christophersen, and Zelda Preston.

Community Members we need your help! We are collecting items to donate to the communities in North Carolina affected by the hurricane. Bring your donations for the next 2-3 weeks to any home sporting events. Students bring your donations to the school!
Parent/Teacher Conference forms will be going home with students this week. Please fill out the bottom portion and return to the elementary office no later than October 22nd.
The COU Student Council is hosting a junior high dance this year on November 1st. Unfortunately this is a no school day but schedule wise it works out since it will be after regular season football. Mrs. Snyder is hoping to set up for the dance during school on Halloween otherwise there will be about an hour-two of set up the day of the dance. She will put out more information on the band app.

4th grade learned the various parts of the human body this week. Specifically how our hands move. They made a "robot" finger for their science projects today.

JH volleyball girls faced off against River Valley yesterday. They battled to the end but came up just a bit short this time. Final scores were 21-12(W), 17-21(L), and 8-15(L). Great effort girls!
