Tomorrow is the big day! Classes start at 8:20 and we will release 2 hrs early on Wednesday and Thursday. Dress for the weather and we encourage you to bring a water bottle to help keep cool. See ya soon.

Due the excessive projected heat index for tomorrow evening, August 21, CO-U's open house will be a bit different. You are welcome to come in from 5 until 7 and drop your stuff in your rooms by setting it on your desks or putting it in your lockers. Staff will not be in their rooms though due to the excessive heat and us not having air conditioning in the majority of our building. If you need to get ahold of your child's teacher, please feel free to email them or request a phone call from them through our office. Thank you for your understanding with this.
The Countdown has begun! One more week till the start of COU's 23/24 school year! Mark your calendar because August 23rd will be here before you know it. We are super excited to see all our returning students and even some fresh new faces. See ya soon.
Heads up to COU parents and guardians! Open House is just one week away! Mark it on your calendars. Open House will be Monday the 21st from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Hope to see you then.
Reminder to COU parents and guardians that today kicks off back to school Registration! Offices are open from 12:00pm to 7:30pm today as well as 8:00-4:00 the 8th-10th and 8:00-12:00 on Friday the 11th. We have registration packets at the school or you can print them at home and bring them in. On the 7th our offices are open from 12:00 pm until 7:30 pm.
On the 8th, 9th, and 10th you can stop in between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
On the 11th you can stop in between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm.

Charter Oak-Ute is seeking the services of a qualified individual that would like to be a bus driver for the 2023-2024 school year. Route pay is 45.75 per route or 91.50 daily. The individual needs to have, or be able to obtain, a CDL and Bus license. Assistance can be provided to help an individual obtain the desired licenses if needed. The AM route runs roughly 6:30-8:00 and the PM route runs roughly 3:00-4:30. Interested parties can contact Adam Eggeling or Jake Hopp at Charter Oak-Ute CSD at 712-678-3325.
