Football season is finally here! JH Football kicks off tomorrow at MVAO-COU in Mapleton as we face the Woodbury Central Wildcats! The game starts at 4:00pm. Come on out and support your team.
The JH volleyball girls faced a tough opponent yesterday when they played the Woodbine Tigers. They gave it their all but came up just a little short this time. The 7th grade played 3 games. Scoring a win in the first match (21-19) and losses in the next two (10-21) and (10-15). The 8th grade fought hard for two matches but came up shy of a win. Scoring (15-21) in their first match and (6-21) in their second. A strong effort was made and we are sure to see great things from our girls this season.
The JH Cross Country team had a great first outing yesterday. Pictured here are Ryder Meseck and Josiah Pietsch. Ryder pushed hard to finish 21st out of 55 JH boys with a time of 16:12 . Josiah wasn't far behind with a respectable 39th place finish and a time of 19:31.
