Good Morning Bobcats!!!
Interesting Fact of the Day: Did you know that it sometimes snows where you least expect it? You wouldn’t be surprised to see snow in the Midwest, right? But did you know that it has actually snowed in the Sahara Desert and in Hawaii before? Even the driest place on Earth, the Atacama Desert in Chile received nearly 32 inches of snow thanks to a rare cold front from Antarctica in 2011.
Today is known as National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
Law Enforcement Officers of every rank and file have chosen a profession that puts their life on the line every day for their communities. They’ve answered a call to public service that is demanding and often unappreciated. Rarely do they know what their days have in store for them. There are several ways to show your support for these people. Send a note of thanks to your local, county or state police agency. Wear blue, turn your social media channels blue or shine a blue porch light to show your support. What would you do without these people who protect you?
Joke of the Day: Q: If your reindeer lost his tail, where would you go to buy him a new one? A: A retail store!
